Installation and Setup:

TeamRepair is a utility provided with TeamAgenda that can repair damaged personal agenda and team database files. It is installed automatically with TeamAgenda. You can also install it using a Custom Installation.

The TeamRepair utility is needed only if your personal agenda is damaged, and TeamAgenda will normally ask you to use it if it is needed.

TeamRepair may also be used to compress a personal agenda file or team database to save disk space. If you consider that your agenda file or database is becoming too large, run TeamRepair to compact it.

For safety's sake, TeamRepair will always make a backup copy of your personal agenda file or team database before operating.

Using TeamRepair when Upgrading to a New Version of TeamAgenda

When upgrading to a new version of TeamAgenda, the new version will convert your existing team database (.tdb) and personal agenda files (.ta) automatically. For safety's sake, however, you should always:

1) Make backup copies of your data files before converting them.

2) Use the version of TeamRepair that came with your previous version of TeamAgenda to verify and compact your current team database file before opening it in your new version of TeamAgenda.

For example, if you are converting from TeamAgenda 3.1 to TeamAgenda 4, use TeamRepair 3.1 to verify and compact your existing team database file before converting.
