1) NEW TO TEAMAGENDA:

TeamAgenda can now be installed by simply drag-and-drop the application icon wherever you want it.

TeamAgenda is now a Mach-O Runtime Architecture application or Application Bundle. This new architecture will allow Teamsoft to move forward into the Cocoa framework type of applications.

TeamNotify is now embeded into TeamAgenda. You now have to keep TeamAgenda running in order to receive alarms and notifications. You no longer have to manage what calendaring documents is monitored by TeamNotify, thus there will be now more potential network congestion and related problems. When an alarm rings, TeamNotify Icon will appear into the Dock.

TeamAgenda client 4.5.x is used to connect to the new Scalable TeamAgenda Server (STS).  

TeamAgenda can now export commitments and alarms to iCalendar and vCalendar format. It is now possible to export commitments and alarms to Apple iCal application, thus allowing synchronization with Apple iSync.

It is also possible to export commitents and alarms to PalmDesktop application, thus allowing synchronization to special Palm device not currently support by TeamAgenda.

TeamAgenda can now import commitments and alarms from iCalendar file format. Recurring event is not actually supported, but will be in a subsequent update.

2) CORRECTIONS:

Incident and ticket number fixed in this release:

549 Loginname = volname create problem on file open/creation 
550 User login with central account with no mounted vol create problem 

3) IMPROVEMENTS:

- Mach-O architecture. Compatibility with Cocoa frameworks.
- TeamNotify now embed into TeamAgenda. 

4) SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:

Windows:
- Windows ME/2000/XP and up.

Macintosh:
- Macintosh OS X 10.3.9 and  10.4.x

Palm synchronization:
- requires PalmDesktop for Macintosh 4 or higher. 
- HotSync Manager 4.1 on Windows platforms.

6) COMPONENTS NOT SUPPORTED in this version of TeamAgenda:
- FileMaker Integration

The following components were available in TeamAgenda 4.0 and are
no longer supported in 4.5:
- TeamAgenda/FirstClass integration
- Psion 3 PDA synchronization
- AppleShareIP web server
- AppleTalk network protocol

7) UPGRADING:

Teamsoft recommends making backup copies of your personal agenda before the upgrade.

Once your server is upgraded to 4.5+ you can use an older version of TA client (4.1 and lower).  This can be temporary solution until you upgade to TA 4.5+ client and should not be used over a long period of time.  Upgrade to TeamAgenda 4.5+ client as soon as possible.

Note: TeamAgenda client 4.5+ is only compatible with the Scalable TeamAgenda Server (STS).

8) INSTALLATION:

Palm Conduits:
-  On Windows, the Palm Conduits are installed automatically in the HotSync Conduits folder.
-  On Macintosh, Palm Conduits are installed in the Teamsoft folder and will have 
to be moved manually to the Palm HotSync Conduits folder. 
It is recommended that you hard-reset the Palm device before setting up TA Conduits.
